Personal Finance Ambassador Programme 2019/20 – Project Presentation and Award Ceremony

Students from BBA Banking and Finance and Financial Analysis Programmes represented HSUHK to participate into the Personal Finance Ambassador Programme 2019-20 jointly organized by HKEX, The Investor and Financial Education Council and St. James’ Settlement.

Among many teams coming from other local tertiary institutions, the team “HSUEPAY” formed by Lam Kai Tik, Li Yuet Kwan, Choy Chi Hei, Luk Kai Yan and Lau Hoi Yi were accepted as one of the successful teams in Oct 2019 after submitting a financial education project proposal to promote E-payment messages to the peers and gone through a competitive team interview.

After receiving training as Personal Finance Ambassadors at a Day Camp in November 2019, they perfected their project idea “Hang Seng pay with you (恒大陪你PAY)” and implemented it in the last two months of 2019. The team has been awarded the Ambassador Certificate at the Ambassador Award Ceremony held on 18th January 2020.

The activity provided an opportunity for them to apply what they learned from the practical HSUHK degree programmes and fostered their personal development.

Miss Niki Lai, Senior Manager, Youth Services Career Sparkle, St. James’ Settlement presented the Ambassador Certificate to the team “HSUEPAY”.

Team “HSUEPAY” was awarded “Ambassador Certificate”. One of the academic advisors Dr Brian Tung shared the happy moment with them.
