The Department of Economics and Finance (EAF) successfully hosted its Annual Department Retreat at the Alva Hotel by Royal on 11 September 2025. The event provided a crucial strategic platform, bringing together faculty and staff to align departmental objectives with the broader vision of the School of Business (SBUS).
The retreat featured in-depth sessions focused on integrating SBUS’s Strategic Priorities with EAF’s operational goals. Department teams presented concrete Autumn Strategic Actions designed to translate these priorities into tangible outcomes. Performance updates further highlighted progress in Student Recruitment and new initiatives for Research development. A collaborative open-floor discussion fostered a unified approach to future opportunities, generating valuable feedback from faculty.
