簡歷

Dr Cheng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance.  He also serves as the Associate Director of Centre for Global Finance and FinTech.  Before joining HSUHK, Dr Cheng gained extensive industry experience in financial market infrastructure development and regulatory frameworks.

He is appointed by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) HKSAR to serve as both Member of the Academic and Accreditation Advisory Committee and Advisory Group of the Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC) – Financial Education for Young Adults.

His teaching and research encompass law and finance, with a particular emphasis on integrating rigorous academic insight with real-world financial practice.
