{"id":10332,"date":"2025-08-27T10:06:25","date_gmt":"2025-08-27T02:06:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbus.hsu.edu.hk\/news\/2025-policy-address-consultation-session-for-post-secondary-students\/"},"modified":"2025-09-28T22:53:32","modified_gmt":"2025-09-28T14:53:32","slug":"2025-policy-address-consultation-session-for-post-secondary-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbus.hsu.edu.hk\/zh-hant\/news\/department-of-economics-and-finance\/2025-policy-address-consultation-session-for-post-secondary-students\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Policy Address Consultation Session for Post-Secondary Students"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\uff08\u53ea\u63d0\u4f9b\u82f1\u6587\u7248\u672c\uff09<br\/><br\/>In line with the School&#8217;s strategic pillar on entrepreneurial spirit, the EAF Department encouraged and prepared SBUS students to participate in the 2025 Policy Address consultation session for post-secondary students hosted by the Education Bureau (EDB).<\/p>\n\n<p>As part of a pilot program, we selected four outstanding students majoring in Economics and Global Business Management. To ensure they were well-prepared for the consultation session, we organized a preparatory workshop on August 26, featuring Dr. Chan Chi Kit, Director of the Institute for Youth Sustainability Leadership and Associate Director of the Centre for Public Policy Research, as our guest speaker. Dr. Chan, together with EAF academics, provided valuable insights into the core issues outlined by the EDB, which included (1) post-secondary education policies and (2) social mobility and youth policies.<\/p>\n\n<p>The two-hour consultation session took place on August 27, at the Education Bureau&#8217;s Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, which attracted numerous students from various higher education institutions across Hong Kong. Our students gained significant exposure, learning from their peers how to articulate their perspectives and present their suggestions effectively.
