\uff08\u53ea\u63d0\u4f9b\u82f1\u6587\u7248\u672c\uff09The HSUHK 12th<\/sup>\u00a0Junzi Corporation Award Presentation Ceremony (\u201cceremony\u201d) was successfully held on 15 June 2023 at HSUHK. Industry leaders and distinguished guests from various sectors attended the ceremony. The highlights of the ceremony included the announcement of the HSUHK Hong Kong Business Ethics Index 2023, presentation of the 12th<\/sup>\u00a0Junzi Corporation Awards and a dialogue with business leaders.<\/p>\n\n

Following the opening remark of the HSUHK President, Professor Simon Ho, Dr Thomas Man \u2013 Associate Dean (Enterprise and Business Engagement) of the School of Business \u2013 announced the HSUHK Business Ethics Index 2023 (\u201cIndex\u201d), which reflects the public\u2019s comprehensive evaluation of the ethical level of the business community as a whole.\u00a0 The results of this year\u2019s survey show that the Index has increased to 62.4 (out of 100), which was an increase of 0.8% and 4% from 61.9 in 2022 and 60.0 in 2021 respectively.\u00a0 The results reflect that the overall level of business ethics in Hong Kong perceived by Hong Kong citizens has increased and enterprises have also improved in terms of business ethics.<\/p>\n\n

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Junzi Corporation Awards. The Junzi Corporation Award recognised outstanding companies which have demonstrated exceptional high standards in conducting operations in accordance with the Junzi virtues. This year, there are a total of 14 companies which receive the Junzi Corporation Awards in three categories, including the Junzi Corporation Award for Exemplary Business Practices, the Junzi Corporation Awards and the Junzi Corporation Awards (Small and Medium Enterprises).<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the award presentation ceremony, a dialogue with business leaders on the topic: \u201cMoving Forward from the Pandemic: Reflections and Strategies for the Future\u201d was hosted during the event. Ms Kathryn Ho, Deputy CEO of International Housewares Retail Co. Limited, and Mr Maurice Kong, Chairman of the Institute of Dining Professionals shared that as the world begins to recover from the pandemic, businesses and organisations are looking for ways to improve efficiency and streamline their operations. Technology has always been a powerful tool for achieving these goals, but the pandemic highlighted the need for even greater reliance on technology to maintain the productivity and profitability.<\/p>\n\n
