Students from SBUS have been doing well in the Youth Elite Aspiration Program (YEAP) over the past few years. It’s a prestigious program organized by the Hong Kong Professional & Senior Executive Association aimed at equipping young people with real-world business knowledge and professional networks.
Students have claimed prizes as winners and runners-up in YEAP’s team and individual categories. This year, the winning streak of SBUS continued. Roy Ying, Senior Lecturer of Marketing, led a team of young people with the help of Petal Choi (a BBA-MKT alumnus who was also a member of the YEAP’s winning team in 2024), claimed the top prize in the team category as champion. The winning presentation was about how young people in Hong Kong can tap into the potential of Islamic business opportunities in ASEAN economies. As the winning team, each member will be invited to an all-expense-paid study trip to Jakarta, Indonesia, in August, courtesy of HKPASEA.
