Two HSUHK team won three Awards in “Excellent Financial Education Project”, Personal Finance Ambassador Programme 2022/23

In the capacity of the competition advisor, the Department of Economics and Finance would like to share the following encouraging news.

Two Students groups with members major in BBA-FB and other programmes won the SILVER award in the “Excellent Financial Education Project”, Judges Accredited Awards + Ambassador Certificate respectively of the Personal Finance Ambassador Programme 2022/23 co-organised by the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, Investor and Financial Education Council, and St James’ Settlement.

Our student team “Digi FINoobs”, including BBA-FB (Ho Man Fei), BBA-FB (Lo Yuen Yi), BBA-MGT (Lee Wai Wing), and MSIM (Kaur Manpreet), stood out among many other tertiary teams and was shortlisted as one of the best final 6 teams to present at the Ambassador Award Ceremony in the morning of 3 Jun 2023. The team won the Silver award and received a trophy and a $10,000 cash prize. After receiving training to qualify as “Personal Finance Ambassadors 2022/23”, based on the theme of “Digital Finance”), our team developed a series of online and offline activities to educate other HSU students about key concepts in financial management. Their creativity and adaptability were recognized by the organizers.
