Mr Yim was an experienced practitioner in the finance industry before joining the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He had taken up positions in the areas of treasury, FX trading, investment advisory and wealth management serving individual and corporate clients in various banks and financial institutions. Mr Yim holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in finance. He also obtained the professional designations of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). His teaching interests include financial management, corporate finance, alternative investments and financial markets trading.
