Explore Key Business Education Trends: AACSB Elevate Asia Pacific

HSUHK School of Business was delighted to participate in the AACSB Elevate: Asia Pacific Conference on 18 and 19 November, which brought together leaders and practitioners shaping the future of business education in our region. Across inspiring keynotes and concurrent sessions, we engaged with timely themes such as digital transformation and AI in teaching, assurance of learning, sustainability and responsible management, and deeper industry collaboration. The conversations were both strategic and practical, offering clear pathways to elevate the learning experience and graduate outcomes.

The conference also offered outstanding networking opportunities. We connected with new partners and explored shared interests with other schools in student exchanges and faculty visiting engagements. Follow-up conversations are already scheduled, and we look forward to turning these connections into concrete collaborations that benefit our students and faculty.

We returned with actionable ideas to strengthen faculty development and curriculum innovation, with a particular focus on making Assurance of Learning (AoL) cycles more accurate, efficient, and impactful. We learned ways to harness AI for AoL, reducing manual workload and sharpening the insights we use to refine courses and programmes. We also explored effective, time-saving methodologies and practical strategies for sustaining high-standard teaching under financial and resource constraints.

We are grateful to AACSB and the organisers for curating a dynamic, forward-looking programme. The energy and ideas we brought home will guide our next steps, and we invite our community, industry partners and alumni to stay tuned for opportunities to engage in new projects, courses, and partnerships inspired by the conference.
