Overview
The Department of Economics and Finance at Hang Seng University offers three Bachelor’s Degree Programmes: “Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Financial Analysis and FinTech, Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Finance and Banking, and Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Economics. These programmes provide students with diverse learning options in the financial field, covering areas such as investment, FinTech, banking, and economics. Students can choose one of these programmes based on their personal interests to prepare for the challenges and opportunities in their financial studies.
In recent years, FinTech innovations have rapidly developed globally, encompassing a wide range of knowledge and applications related to banking, finance, and economic research. Our department has integrated financial technology applications into the curriculum, including technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and blockchain applications, to enhance students’ market competitiveness in this field.
Additionally, the department offers various internship opportunities that allow students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles and applications of these financial tools, effectively showcasing their learning outcomes. Furthermore, the department regularly hosts different lectures and competitions, inviting outstanding leaders from the finance, economics, and FinTech sectors to share the latest trends and industry developments.
