Mr. Kwok is an Executive Director of Henderson Land Development Company Limited. He also serves as a Director of the asset manager company that manages the locally listed Sunlight Real Estate Investment Trust. In addition, Mr. Kwok is a member of the Management Committee of the Union Hospital in Hong Kong which is one of the largest private hospitals in Hong Kong. Relating to past working experience, he worked for more than 10 years in the international banking field in London, Chicago, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong. Moreover, Mr. Kwok carries with him more than twenty years of senior management experience in the property field covering project financing, corporate financing and corporate finance in Hong Kong as well as in mainland China.
Mr. Kwok is an Adjunct Professor of the Department of Real Estate and Construction of the University of Hong Kong (“HKU”) and also an Adjunct Professor of Hang Seng University. For many years, he delivered lectures and talks to students in university postgraduate degree programmes with audiences coming from Master degree programmes offered by Cambridge University, Cornell University, and Tsinghua University as well as the EMBA programme jointly offered by the Columbia University, London Business School and The University of Hong Kong, amongst others. Mr. Kwok also often gets invited to participate as guest speaker and also as discussion panel member in business forums in the areas of corporate strategy and acquisitions, finance as well as real estate related fields in various geographic regions.
Mr. Kwok is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as well as an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of the United Kingdom. holds a B.Sc. Engineering (Civil Engineering) degree from the University of London as well as a Post-graduate Diploma in Surveying (Real Estate Development) from the University of Hong Kong. In addition, Mr. Kwok also obtained a M.Sc. Administrative Sciences degree from the Bayes Business School of City St. George’s, University of London (previously Cass Business School, City University, London) and he also further completed the Senior Executive Program in Stanford University.
