WiSA of the School of Business successfully hosted the seminar “Hong Kong’s Evolving Tax Policy Landscape”, delivered by Ms Lusan Hung, Head of Budget and Tax Policy Unit, Financial Secretary’s Office.
Through direct engagement with senior government expertise, students actively asked questions, gaining current HK tax policy insights—including how the government makes decisions by considering all aspects of society and international factors, while pursuing options that achieve the same impact at the least cost to benefit the most in the community—and receiving Ms Hung’s authoritative analysis of recent tax policy developments and their business implications—effectively bridging academic learning with professional practice while equipping them with timely perspectives essential for career preparation in Hong Kong’s dynamic tax environment.
WiSA extends appreciation to Ms Lusan Hung for her insightful presentation and to all participating students for their active engagement.

Honoured to have Ms Antonia Yeung (right), Associate Vice President, present the Certificate of Appreciation to Ms Hung.
