We are pleased to invite you to participate in the conference titled “Transdisciplinary Integration: Transformations and Challenges for Accounting Education in the New Era“, hosted by the Department of Accountancy, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, on 4 – 5 June 2026

As the accounting profession faces significant changes driven by technological advancements, evolving regulations, and a growing emphasis on ethics and sustainability, our role as educators is more crucial than ever. This conference aims to create a dynamic platform for scholars, regulators, and industry practitioners to discuss the implications of transdisciplinary integration on accounting education.

We encourage academic researchers to submit papers that explore innovative practices, collaborative strategies, and the integration of emerging technologies into accounting curricula. We welcome research that addresses the challenges of globalization, digital disruption, and sustainability within the profession. Join us as we exchange insights and foster collaborative opportunities to empower educators and students in navigating this new era of accounting. 3. Paper Submission
Submitted papers must be original academic works that have not been previously published, in either Chinese or English. Accepted paper types include theoretical studies, empirical research, case studies, and surveys. Papers submitted are peer reviewed.
 
The submission deadline is 30 April 2026 (early submission is encouraged). The organizing committee will arrange expert reviews and send official acceptance notifications and invitations by 10 May 2026.
 
For paper in English, paper formatting should follow the Chicago Manual of Style (16th ed.; University of Chicago Press). For paper in Chinese, paper formatting should follow the submission requirements of Accounting Research (會計研究). Please include a separate page listing detailed author information, including:
Full names, academic/professional titles, institutional affiliations, and email addresses of all authors.
Contact author’s name, mailing address, telephone, and mobile number.

Conference Fee: No registration fee will be charged. Faculty members, students, and partitioners are welcome to participate.
 
Participants are responsible for their own accommodation (a list of conference-recommended hotels is available upon request), transportation, and meal expenses.
