The School of Business at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) successfully convened its 1st School Advisory Committee Meeting of AY2025/26 on 10 November 2025 at Alva Hotel by Royal, Shatin.
We were honoured to have President Simon Ho deliver the opening remarks, and Dean Sam Park sharing greetings and appreciation to the members.
Chaired by Mr Joe Ngai, Greater China Chairman of McKinsey & Company, the meeting brought together distinguished leaders from a wide range of industries to provide strategic advice and insights for the School’s future development. In his opening remarks, Mr Ngai commended the School for its inspiring vision and energetic culture, noting that these qualities set the School apart and will drive its transformation in the years ahead.
Following Dean Park’s presentation of the School’s five-year strategic plan, members engaged in a rigorous open discussion that aligned with the School’s four pillars of success, including Global Mindset, Social Responsibility, Technological Competency, and Entrepreneurial Orientation. Members also reaffirmed the School’s aspiration to become a leading international business school in Asia.
The School extends heartfelt thanks to all Advisory Committee members for their valuable contributions. Their diverse insights will continue to shape the School’s strategy and strengthen its impact on students, industry, and society.
