Department of Accountancy Welcomes Delegation from CPA Australia

The Department of Accountancy welcomed representatives from CPA Australia to campus on 20 January 2026 for a meeting aimed at strengthening academic and professional collaboration. 

The meeting was attended by senior representatives from CPA Australia, including Professor Dale Pinto – Global President and Chair of the Board, CPA Australia; Ms Cassandra Wong, Senior Manager of Member Services and Events; Ms Helen Cheung, Regional Business Development lead and Ms Cora Cheung, Senior Business Development Manager. Mr Jeffrey Chan, Co-owner of Laservall Co. Ltd, also attended the meeting.  Their presence underscored the importance of fostering ties between academia and the professional accounting landscape.

During the meeting, participants engaged in insightful discussions surrounding the latest developments in the accounting profession, providing a valuable platform for the exchange of ideas. Key topics included opportunities for collaboration in the areas of professional education, student engagement, and academic initiatives.
