Understanding that many of our new students from mainland China experienced visa delays this August, the Department of Management (MGT) were thrilled to host an exclusive, additional orientation session for them on 11 September 2025! This special event ensured they didn’t miss out on the fun and connection that defines our community.
A Day of Connection and Fun
The atmosphere was electric with excitement as our new students dove into the day’s activities. They were fully engaged, especially during the lively singing and interactive game sessions. It was a joy to see new friendships forming as students mingled happily with our faculty members, breaking the ice in a relaxed and joyful setting.
A Highlight: Bridging Cultures with Language
A truly memorable moment came from our wonderful Korean teacher, who went the extra mile to make our students feel at home. In a gesture that was both charming and effective, they tried communicating in Mandarin. This effort was met with delighted laughter and applause, successfully heating up the atmosphere and getting everyone even more excited about the semester ahead. It was a beautiful example of our international community coming together!
