On 6 March 2026, the School of Business successfully hosted the Mentor-Mentee Graduation Gathering for the School of Business Elite Mentorship Programme (SEMP) 2025, which also doubled as the official kick-off ceremony for SEMP 2026.
Held at The Always@HSUHK, the event welcomed approximately 30 participants from both the SEMP 2025 and 2026 cohorts. They gathered to commemorate the journey of SEMP 2025, honor the meaningful mentor-mentee bonds forged, and inaugurate a new chapter for the programme. Attendees shared heartfelt reflections on their mentorship experiences, highlighting the collective challenges they overcame together and the individual growth each achieved. Mentors were recognized for their voluntary dedication and professional guidance, while mentees were commended for their active engagement and commitment to self-improvement—with all participants expressing sincere gratitude for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside one another.
Following the celebrations marking the successful conclusion of SEMP 2025, the SEMP team officially launched the 2026 cycle, outlining the programme’s core visions and expectations to inspire anticipation for future learning and networking opportunities. The warm, casual ambiance of the venue fostered fruitful interactions, strengthening cross-cohort connections that will sustain and enrich the SEMP community in the year ahead.
