SBUS Explores Strategic Partnership with Loyola Marymount University (LMU)

In a meaningful step toward international collaboration, the School of Business held a productive meeting with representatives from Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Copenhagen on 27 July to explore the establishment of a formal academic partnership.

Led by Dean Park, the discussion focused on expanding cross-institutional ties and identifying areas for strategic collaboration—including student exchange, joint research, and co-curricular programming to enrich business education on both sides.

Joining the dialogue were key representatives from LMU, including Professor Li Dai, Professor Ellen Ensher, Dr Jason D’Mello, Dr Melissa Fitzpatrick, Dr Junghoon Park, and Dr Sang-Hoon Lee, alongside SBUS faculty members Professor Victor Lau, Dr Jessie Cheung, Dr Seonghoon Kim, Dr Stephen Hwang, Dr Eko Liao, Dr Linda Wang, Dr Jody Wong, and Dr Qingwei Li.

The meeting highlighted shared interests in entrepreneurship, sustainability, and industry-focused education, and laid the groundwork for meaningful joint initiatives. With strong alignment in values and academic goals, both institutions expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities this partnership can bring to their students and faculty communities.
