The Department of Accountancy organized a Programme Orientation Session on 11 September (Thursday) to warmly welcome the new Year 1 entrants of the BBA-PA and BBA-CGC programmes to the HSUHK community.
Professor Phyllis Mo, Head of the Department, delivered the welcome remarks, introducing the mission and vision of the Department while encouraging students to embrace opportunities and equip themselves for future success.
Dr. Rita Yip, Programme Director of BBA-PA; Dr. Stacy Wang, Associate Programme Director of BBA-PA; Dr. Johnson Shum, Programme Director of BBA-CGC; and Dr. Belinda Yau, Associate Programme Director of BBA-CGC, provided an overview of the key features of the programmes, including structure, study plans, and graduation requirements.
Following the presentations, students engaged in small-group discussions with their personal tutors, covering their study pathways, career aspirations, and strategies for academic success at HSUHK. The interactive session fostered closer connections between staff and students, setting a positive tone for their academic journey ahead.
