Hybrid Seminar Hosted by The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK) on Pillar Two of BEPS 2.0

On 16 July 2025, students from the Department of Accountancy had the exceptional opportunity to attend a hybrid seminar hosted by The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK) on Pillar Two of BEPS 2.0. The seminar took place at Deloitte’s office, featuring Mr. Benjamin Chan, JP, Commissioner of Inland Revenue, as the distinguished guest speaker.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to TIHK and its President, Ms. Winnie Shek, for generously offering complimentary seats to our students. This invaluable chance allowed them to gain firsthand insights into the long-awaited Ordinance, directly from a leading expert involved in its implementation.

The seminar provided an in-depth and professional exploration of this important international tax reform, enriching our students’ academic journey and professional development in the field of taxation.

We are grateful to TIHK for this meaningful collaboration and look forward to future opportunities that enhance our students’ learning experiences.
