The Department of Economics and Finance (EAF) recently welcomed Mr. Bill Ho, General Manager (Corporate Development) at HK Electric, for a compelling talk titled “Running Business in an Emerging ESG Landscape in the Electricity Sector.” Mr. Ho, who oversees regulatory affairs and strategic development at HK Electric, addressed an engaged audience of over 60 students and faculty members, including EAF Head Professor Roman Matousek. Introduced by Mr. Ken Chan, Mr. Ho explored the evolving ESG trends within Hong Kong’s electricity sector and emphasized the relevance of ESG principles in both business and everyday life. The event concluded with a token of appreciation presented by Ms. Rosalie Woo.
