The Department of Economics and Finance (EAF) held a hands-on workshop on 6 November 2025 in the Financial Trading Laboratory titled “How Do the Pros Analyze Markets? An Introduction to Bloomberg Terminal Workshop”, introducing students to the industry-standard Bloomberg Terminal.
Over the one-hour session, students learned how professionals in the market use the platform to monitor real-time markets, retrieve company and macroeconomic data, screen securities, and track news and analytics. Students actively asked questions about commands usage, data export, and best practices.
The workshop provided participants with foundational skills for using the Bloomberg Terminal and conducting professional market analysis.
