The winning streak continues for the School of Business in the prestigious Youth Elite Aspiration Program (YEAP), an initiative organized by the Hong Kong Professionals & Senior Executives Association (HKPASEA) to empower young people with business knowledge and professional networks.
While students from the School of Business have claimed top honors in the past years, this year’s triumph spotlighted the impactful mentorship provided by our faculty and alumni. Over the past six months, Mr. Roy Ying, Senior Lecturer of Department of Marketing, coached a dedicated team of youth participants alongside Petal Choy (BBA-MKT 2023), an alumnus and former YEAP champion in 2024. Their leadership and guidance paved the way for another championship win in the team category.
The winning presentation focused on unlocking Islamic business opportunities across ASEAN economies—an innovative and relevant topic that impressed the judging panel. As part of the prize, team members will embark on a fully sponsored study trip to Jakarta this August, courtesy of HKPASEA.
This achievement underscores the strength of the School’s community, where alumni and faculty continue to share their expertise and inspire the next generation of business leaders.
