The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) School of Business claimed the accolade of “Rising Star of Influential Educational Excellence” at the 2025 Hurun-Dazzling Future Education Ceremony held on 25 January 2026. The Ceremony, themed “Boundless Intellectual Education” gathered global education experts and industry leaders to review 2025 education innovation achievements and recognize institutions excelling in teaching quality, market influence, and educational equity.

The Ceremony attracted outstanding educational professionals from home and abroad. Through thematic forums, exclusive interviews and networking opportunities, participants conducted in-depth discussions on how technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) are revolutionizing teaching models, as well as the trends in lifelong learning.
As an authoritative educational platform under Hurun Report, Hurun Education released its annual education rankings to recognize remarkable efforts in innovative teaching, international exchange and public welfare contributions. The School of Business distinguished for its integration of liberal arts and professional education, active alignment with educational policies, and remarkable progress in enhancing educational equity and market influence, setting a benchmark for business education.
Professor Lau’s Interview: Committed to Building an International, Technology-Oriented, Socially Responsible and Entrepreneurial Business Education Ecosystem

During an interview at the Ceremony, Professor Victor Lau, Associate Dean (Taught Postgraduate Programmes) of School of Business; Programme Director of MBA (in Chinese) Programme, stated that The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) has made remarkable progress in recent years. As one of the University’s core schools, the School of Business has achieved multiple international recognitions for its excellence in teaching and research, demonstrating its strong commitment to the continuous pursuit of quality business education. The School has earned the prestigious AACSB International Accreditation, placing it among the top 6% of business schools worldwide. It has also been included in the Eduniversal list of the Top 1000 Business Schools Globally, receiving the distinction of “3 Palmes of Excellence“. Meanwhile, the School has become a member of EFMD Global and is actively pursuing EQUIS accreditation to further strengthen its international standing.
Looking ahead, Professor Lau expressed the aspiration for the School of Business to leverage Hong Kong’s unique position as an international education and financial hub. HSUHK School of Business Secures the Prestigious “Rising Star” Award



HSUHK School of Business was honored with the “2025 Influential Educational Excellence – Rising Star”. Professor Victor Lau, Associate Dean (Taught Postgraduate Programmes) of School of Business; Programme Director of MBA (in Chinese) Programme, received the award on behalf of the School.
Professor Lau stated that this award affirms the Business School’s efforts in advancing boundless intellectual education, adding that the School will continue to deepen the AI applications and strengthen global collaborations to contribute to the development of high-quality business and management education in Hong Kong.
