Professor Victor Lau, Associate Dean (Taught Postgraduate Programmes) of School of Business; Programme Director of MBA (in Chinese) Programme, together with Ms. Fiona Fong, Postgraduate Programme Manager, School of Business, recently visited the Shanghai campus of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) for an academic exchange. Professor Chen Shimin, Zhu Xiaoming Chair in Accounting and Associate Dean (Case Center) of CEIBS, together with Ms. Gracie Gong, Manager of Institutional Collaboration at the Case Center, warmly received the HSUHK team. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on business talent cultivation, case development, and international collaboration, exploring future opportunities.

Professor Chen and Ms. Gracie, accompanied the HSUHK team on a tour of the Shanghai campus and introduced CEIBS’s academic development and learning environment.


During the meeting, Professor Lau introduced the distinctive educational approach, academic structure, and development vision of the HSUHK School of Business. He highlighted the innovative practices and aspirations of its taught postgraduate programmes. Professor Chen shared CEIBS’s experience in building a world-class case library and elaborated on how high-quality Chinese business cases contribute to management education worldwide. Both parties also exchanged insights on the theme of “Transformation of Business Education in the Digital and AI Era”.

The visit enhanced mutual understanding and trust between the two institutions, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration in joint training, case study co-development, and academic resource sharing.
