The Department of Management (MGT) and School of Communication (SCOM) joined forces with Mill MILK, one of Hong Kong’s most popular YouTube channels, to deliver an interactive and dynamic one-day workshop for aspiring content creators!

The workshop began with an inspiring talk by Long, the charismatic creator behind Mill MILK, who took students through his evolution from amateur filmmaker to established YouTuber, revealed the creative strategies behind his channel’s viral hits, and shared hands-on advice on storyboarding, filming methods, and building viewer engagement.
Lights, Camera, Action! Student Video Challenge
The workshop’s climax was an exhilarating video production challenge that pushed students to quickly form teams, conceptualise ideas, and produce complete YouTube-style videos within a tight timeframe – with the most outstanding teams winning prizes while demonstrating impressive creativity, technical abilities, and collaborative spirit through their innovative and engaging final productions.






This unique collaboration gave students invaluable real-world insights into digital content creation, hands-on practice in professional video production and storytelling techniques, and meaningful networking opportunities with industry experts.
