Programme Objectives
- Enhance students’ leadership and management knowledge and skills, enabling them to navigate business situations with significant autonomy and effective collaboration;
- Foster students’ business acumen in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ethics, applicable in both local and global contexts;
- Strengthen students’ research capabilities to support informed decision-making with greater accountability;
- Cultivate specialized business knowledge in one of four streams: a) Global Business Management, b) Marketing, c) Global Finance, or d) Accountancy and Corporate Governance; and
- Elevate students’ communication skills in an international business environment.
Programme Intended Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Programme, students should be able to:
- Integrate broad and specialized business knowledge to enhance decision-making processes;
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and knowledge, facilitating proficient interaction in diverse business settings;
- Evaluate personal contributions and responsibilities in becoming accountable employees, business leaders, and partners serving stakeholders;
- Critically analyze and enhance awareness of emerging global issues and developments;
- Operate independently and collaboratively, adapting skills and knowledge to excel in evolving contexts;
- Apply in-depth knowledge specific to a chosen business domain; and
- Design and conduct research to effectively address practical and theoretical challenges.
Academic Structure
After enrolling in our MBM programme, students are required to complete nine modules and a dissertation within one year of full-time study. This consists of the following four common elementary modules in the first semester, which are designed to provide students with an initial understanding across different functions before they move on to take the remaining five modules in their chosen stream in the second semester, and a dissertation in the summer term.

Graduates of the MBM programme may take up positions of various industries or enterprises, including but not limited to auditor, financial analyst, management executive, marketing and sales manager and product development manager. In particular, graduates from the Global Finance stream may take on challenging jobs as banking professionals, investment analysts, fund managers, financial advisors, corporate treasurers, and researchers. Our graduates were employed by several notable employers, such as AIA Group Limited, HSBC Hong Kong, and LG Household & Health Care, Ltd.
