Joining and winning the Cyberport University Partnership Programme was definitely not on my bingo card for 2025, let alone something I envisioned to win my first year.
I cannot deny the fact that I was indeed a little bit intimidated by the people and the challenges I have faced but every milestone was such a wonderful opportunity for me to learn and grow beyond the university walls. If it was not for CUPP, I probably would not have the opportunity to meet such diverse people from different fields and universities. Even when I had the chance to go to the states, the amount of sharings from the mentors and hosts about how they got to where they are today is something I believe I will not be able to get anywhere else. To know that these successful individuals faced the same concerns and worries as I did but did not give up certainly made me feel more confident in facing my future and striving for the best possible outcome. My career path and goals in the future have never been clearer and not to mention I believe it made me a more confident person in terms of my career and life in general. Last but not the least, I will always be so grateful to be able to join such a wonderful team who helped me come out of my shell and helped guide me in the face of adversity. Without them, I do not think I would have been able to create such an idea and project or let alone enjoy the experience as much as I did.
If there was ever a chance that I could join this experience again, I would immediately jump the boat and take the chance and experience this whole ordeal again.
