Faculty members from the Department of Management, Dr Linda WANG, Dr Stephen HWANG, Dr Seonghoon KIM and Dr Qingwei LI, attended the 86th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM 2026), held in Philadelphia, USA, from 31 July to 4 August 2026.

During the conference, Dr Seonghoon Kim’s paper, “Corporate Mitigation Strategy: Real Option Approach”, was recognised as a Runner-Up for the Organisations and the Natural Environment (ONE) Division Best Paper Award and was selected as one of the Division’s Best Accepted Papers.

In addition, Dr Qingwei Li was selected to participate in the International Management (IM) Division Junior Faculty Consortium, a professional development programme designed to support promising junior and early-career scholars in the field of international management.

The conference provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and scholarly engagement. During the visit, the faculty members also met with members of the Department’s Academic Advisory Board (AAB) over a luncheon gathering, where they exchanged insights on research and higher education developments while strengthening academic and professional connections.
