Programme Objectives
- Nurture students’ sense of effective management in entrepreneurial organisations;
- Equip students with the management skills and entrepreneurial qualities to start and manage the internal and external business landscape effectively;
- Enhance students’ knowledge in the functional areas of business, such as accounting, finance and marketing, that is essential in managing entrepreneurial organisations;
- Develop students’ ability to think creatively and solve business problems ethically;
- Advance students’ interpersonal and communication skills especially in team-based settings; and
- Systematise students’ knowledge and skills for business planning and project implementation.
Programme Intended Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Programme, students should be able to:
- Apply concepts, principles, theories, philosophies and professional ethics underpinning the broad area of entrepreneurial management;
- Evaluate and examine applications of the key concepts in accountancy and corporate finance in entrepreneurial organisations;
- Research and analyse the latest trends of marketing in entrepreneurial organisations;
- Reflect upon the roles of creativity in entrepreneurship;
- Communicate effectively and solve problems with peers and work groups; and
- Prepare, systematise and implement business plans and entrepreneurial management projects.

Lu Li Han Eden
Co-founder and Managing Director – Roborn Group
Eden Lu is a Visionary Leader in Tech Innovation and Education. He is a dynamic entrepreneur at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, co-founding Roborn Group—a pioneering company dedicated to advancing 5G robotics and AI solutions. In 2017, alongside his business partner Mark Mak, he established Roborn Dynamics Limited, quickly gaining recognition for its groundbreaking motion control algorithms. A year later, Roborn made history by launching China’s first 5G Motion Control Humanoid Robot, propelling the startup into a multi-award-winning enterprise. The company’s achievements were further celebrated whenits innovations were featured on the cover of the Hong Kong Policy Address for three consecutive years (2022-2024).
Teddy Lui
Chief Commercial Officer Alibaba Hong Kong Entreprenuers Fund
Teddy Lui joined Alibaba Group in 2009, leading business and partnership development for Alibaba.com in Asia Pacific. He is currently the Chief Commercial Officer of Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, running the Investment Program and building partnerships to drive growth in Hong Kong’s startup ecosystem. Prior to his current position, he was the General Manager of Alipay.com and Taobao.com for the Hong Kong and Macau markets. Teddy has more than 20 years of experience in online business, business development, partnership, eCommerce, FinTech and venture capital investment. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr LUK King Sang, Benny 陸景生博士
Former Group Executive Managing Director; CEO Greater China; BGC Group of Companies
Benny engaged over 40 years of his career life in money broking business. He managed the Asia region including India and Bahrain of Tullett Liberty from 2000 to 2005. Taking the opportunity of China’s reform of the financial market, like any other financial centres, China requires an efficient money broking function. Benny established China’s first money broking representative office and JV operational office in Shanghai in 1994 and 2005 respectively for Tullett. After Benny joined ICAP as the CEO, North Asia, he set up the second JV operational office in China and the partner isCFETS (中國外匯交易中心) in 2007 and wassubsequently appointed as Vice President of the JV. Benny established the first foreign wholly-owned money broking firm in South Korea.
Ivan Ng
Co-founder, Lively Impact
Ivan Ng is the co-founder of a technology start-up – Lively Impact and the company focuses on Big Data and AI applications and Services. The company offers an AI platform (called Fingereach) for the digital advertising and media industry and the platform focuses on optimized and targeted mobile advertising with sophisticated and patent-pending analytic technologies. The company also offers a Data Automation Platform (called DataCanva) for automated data ingestion and transformation, empowering organizations and enterprises for building data pipelines for data repository, data visualization and customer segmentation. The company is the HKSTP incubate graduate and LEAP graduate and has won numerous awards such as the silver award of ICT Award 2015 (Big Data Stream), the Certificate of Merit of ICT Award 2017 (Big Data Stream), Cloudera Data Impact Award 2013, TechCrunch BJ Top 15 Start-up 2015 and IOT GD-HK Most Creative Award.
Alice So
Former Head of Entrepreneurship, Cyberport
Alice has been dedicated to provide supports to Hong Kong start-ups for more than a decade. Before she joined Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited in 2011, she supported the design-related start-ups for years at the Hong Kong and Science Technology Parks. She has also worked for multinational companies in plastic resins, chemical and pharmaceutical businesses, with an extensive business background in regional markets which require a deep understanding of multicultural and multi-ethnic working practices. Alice is the former Head of Entrepreneurship at Hong Kong Cyberport, where she led the Entrepreneurship Team in nurturing talent and assisting startups talents and assist startups at different life stages to accelerate in the digital tech industry worldwide, through the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund and the Cyberport Incubation Programme with financial support and professional services. She also drives the industry digitization through generating more innovative solution adoption.
Elaine Wang
Former Managing Director and Head of Human Resources, Hang Seng Bank
Elaine Wang is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Management at the School of Business, Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. She is a mentor of cross disciplinary students at the University for several years, and a mentor for external Data Hackathons in the past.Elaine is a Founding Fellow of the Data and AI Literacy Association in Hong Kong fostering the development of data-literate workforce and promoting data-driven organizations for value creation.Elaine has an international Human Resources leadership track record. As Managing Director and Head of Human Resources at Hang Seng Bank, Elaine led the Bank’s people strategy in business growth, digital transformation, and data driven culture. Under her leadership, the Data Literacy Empowerment initiative received multiple awards for Excellence in Culture Change, Future Skills Development, and Program Design from the Hong Kong Management Association in 2023.
