The Department of Economics and Finance at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, in collaboration with Huizhou New Power (惠州新动力), is delighted to announce the successful completion of the “动力启程（金融商业专题1.0）惠州实习篇” internship program, held from May 24 to June 13, 2025.
This intensive 21-day program brought together 32 exceptional students from the Department of Economics and Finance, offering them a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience and valuable insights into the financial and business sectors of Mainland China. Taking place in Huizhou, a pivotal city within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the program provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the region’s economic landscape.
Participants interned at a range of financial and banking institutions, where they learned directly from seasoned industry professionals. In addition to professional development, students experienced the vibrant culture and rapid growth of Huizhou, enriching their academic journey through meaningful cross-border exposure.
