课程特色
本课程旨在培训学生经济学知识及研究技能，通过对各种研究软件的实际操作培训学生的数据分析技能与分析能力，分析现实世界的不同经济问题，教授学生将经济分析应用於商业决策，以及评估经济谎题对商业活动的影响。
经济学毕业生贝备严谨的分析和数据分析技能，使他们成为商业、金融、银行、教育等多个行业职位和继续深造的理想人选。
末来经济学家计划
我们开展了一项名为“未来经济学家计划”的非学分计划，鼓励积极主动的学生（为申请顶尖研究生院的博士研究课程做準备）在研究活跃的教授的指导下开展独立的本科研究项目。该计画将为学生打开成为教授、分析师、顾问和顶尖研究生院等职位的大门。
BBA Economics 联业加速器导师计划
BBA-Econ藏业加速医导师计量（BBA Economics Career Accelerator Mentorship Program, CAMP）由业界领袖（例如香港贸易发展局高级经济学家，渣打银行至事）担任导师，为学生的职业发展提供建让。
本课程旨在：
- 培养学生的创意、批判思维、分析能力及解难技巧；
- 提升学生的沟通能力、人际技巧、领导才能、自主学习能力及其他可转移技能；
- 培育学生具备强烈的社会责任感及高度的商业道德承担；
- 提升学生的全球意识及本地触觉；
- 装备学生掌握经济学概念及其应用知识；
- 透过理论与实证方法训练，培养学生的经济分析能力；
- 培养专业技能与技巧，装备学生成为经济学专才。
课程架构
经济学工商管理（荣誉）学士为四年制课程。学生须修读 41 个单元科目，每科 3 个学分（其中 3 个英语单元为 2 个学分），具体包含 16 个共同核心课程单元、10 个商学教育单元、12 个经济学专修单元及 3 个自由选修单元。

- 自 2022/23 学年起，所有三年级入学的学生均须修读 ENG3002《专业沟通英语》必修课程。
- 三年级入学的学生须修读的科目数量或会因人而异，已在其他认可高校修完的科目，有机会获学分转移。

Amanda Xu is Director of Financial Institutions in the Corporate and Investment Banking department at Standard Chartered. She currently looks after investors and insurance clients in Hong Kong. Before joining Standard Chartered, she worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Citibank. She started her career in management consulting and has over 17 years of banking experience. Amanda holds an MBA degree from UC Berkeley and a Master’s degree in Econometrics from Tsinghua University.

Elaine Wang is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Management at the School of Business, Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. She is a mentor of cross disciplinary students at the University for several years, and a mentor for external Data Hackathons in the past.Elaine is a Founding Fellow of the Data and AI Literacy Association in Hong Kong fostering the development of data-literate workforce and promoting data-driven organizations for value creation.Elaine has an international Human Resources leadership track record. As Managing Director and Head of Human Resources at Hang Seng Bank, Elaine led the Bank’s people strategy in business growth, digital transformation, and data driven culture. Under her leadership, the Data Literacy Empowerment initiative received multiple awards for Excellence in Culture Change, Future Skills Development, and Program Design from the Hong Kong Management Association in 2023.
Yik-ko Mo

Yik-ko Mo is responsible for promoting international understanding of, and confidence in, Hong Kong’s monetary systems and strengthening Hong Kong’s position as the leading financial centre in the region. Mr Mo joined the HKMA as Senior Manager (Research Department) in 1995. He was seconded to the Bank for International Settlements as Senior Economist in 1998 and to the International Monetary Fund Hong Kong Sub-office in 2002. He re-joined the HKMA in July 2002 as Senior Manager in the External Department, appointed as Chief Manager in September 2022 and to his present position in January 2025.
Roy Chan

Mr. Chan is currently the Head of Compliance at a foreign bank in Hong Kong, responsible for overseeing the bank’s compliance function and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Ernesto Angles is a Vice President of Wealth Intelligence and Applied Research at State Street Investment Management. He leads investor insights within the Center for Investor Research, focusing on behavior, sentiment, and market dynamics to inform product strategy, client engagement, and business development. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, his work connects behavioral finance with real-world application across global markets. Prior to his current role, Ernesto held positions in foreign exchange trading, capital markets, investor relations, and investment communications at Wells Fargo Securities, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, First Republic Bank, and Polen Capital, with experience spanning the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan. At Wells Fargo, he also led early talent recruitment for interns and university graduates across the United States. He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, an executive education certificate in Investment Decisions and Behavioral Finance from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University.
