EAF Personal Tutor Group (Tutoring Classes from February to April 2026)

A recent three-month tutoring initiative for ECO1002 Business Economics 2 has drawn positive feedback from students, highlighting the value of peer-led academic support. Spearheaded by a senior student tutor with deep subject knowledge, the program prioritized personalized learning, enabling students to engage with challenging concepts at a comfortable pace.

The tutor’s passion and expertise created an interactive environment where discussion and collaboration thrived, helping participants grasp key theories and practical applications more effectively. Tailored study materials further complemented the sessions, providing students with targeted resources for exam readiness.

Students praised the program for boosting their confidence. One participant shared, “The tutor really understood where I was struggling and helped me break down complex topics step-by-step. It made a huge difference in how I approached the exams.” Another noted, “The small group setting encouraged us to ask questions freely and learn from each other, which I found really helpful.”

Beyond academic gains, the tutoring classes also fostered a sense of community among peers, while giving the tutors valuable leadership experience. This initiative exemplifies how peer tutoring can enhance learning outcomes and build supportive networks within the university.
