Strengthening Global Pathways in Beijing — The Exhibition of Global Education

I didn’t realize postgraduate study could be this practical and career-focused until today.

That moment captured exactly what our presence in Beijing set out to achieve.

On 13 May 2026 at Capital University of Economics and Business (首都經濟貿易大學) and 22 May 2026 at Beijing Forestry University (北京林業大學), School of Business didn’t just “introduce programmes”—they engaged in real, forward-looking conversations with students actively shaping their futures.

At Capital University of Economics and Business, Dr Eko Liao, Master of Business Management (MBM) Associate Programme Director, spent the day in candid discussions with students weighing their next steps. Many arrived with broad ambitions; they left with clearer direction—connecting business education to tangible career pathways.

At Beijing Forestry University, the dialogue deepened further. Dr Julia Liu, MBM Programme Director, alongside Dr Jennifer Lau, Master of Science in Entrepreneurial Management (MSc-EM) Associate Programme Director, fielded questions that went beyond entry requirements. Students asked about industry alignment, career mobility, and how postgraduate study can accelerate their positioning in an increasingly competitive global market.

What stood out was not the volume of enquiries, but the quality of engagement:

  • Students openly shared their uncertainties about career paths
  • Many sought advice tailored to their individual aspirations, rather than generic programme information
  • Conversations frequently evolved into discussions about long-term career strategy

Through these interactions, our faculty became more than representatives—they became trusted advisors at a critical decision point.

Beyond recruitment, the exhibitions reinforced something equally important: brand credibility. Being physically present—listening, advising, and responding in real time—strengthened our positioning as a university that is not only internationally connected, but deeply invested in student outcomes.

In both universities, our presence signalled clearly:
we are not here just to present degrees—we are here to support ambition, clarify direction, and build futures.
