“AI-adaptor is not enough; AI-native thinking is essential now.” This message, shared during the SSRC Advisory Committee Meeting on 18 May 2026, captured more than a curriculum update, which signaled a wider shift in how the School of Business of HSUHK is preparing students, faculty, and industry partners to respond to a business environment shaped by volatility, technological disruption, and changing workforce needs.
At the meeting, Professor Sam PARK described the School of Business as entering a new stage of transformation, with expanded faculty recruitment, stronger industry integration, and a renewed commitment to equipping students with practical and future-facing capabilities. His remarks framed the discussion as a call to build a business school that can move faster, think more natively in AI, and stay closer to real market demands.

Professor Sam PARK shared the School of Business’s vision for AI-native education, stronger industry integration, and future-ready talent development at the SSRC Advisory Committee Meeting.
That direction was reinforced by Sir Raymond FU, who presented the SSRC Strategic Roadmap 2026-2028 and grouped external advisors into different clusters spanning consumer sectors, professional services, technology, ESG, NGOs, and human capital. The roadmap sets out an ambition to elevate SSRC as a hub for SME intelligence, sustainability, and talent development, supported by phased initiatives including advisor appointments, an ESG Business Census, consultancy projects, corporate visits, internship schemes, and major data-driven reports.
