Dr. Tedmond Lai-yin Tang is a highly accomplished accounting educator and Fellow of both the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FCPA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). He holds a PhD from the University of South Australia, alongside an MBA, a PGCE, and a BA (Hons) in Business Accounting. Dr. Tang has dedicated over three decades to tertiary accounting education across Hong Kong’s leading institutions. His extensive teaching portfolio spans financial and managerial accounting, advanced financial reporting, accounting theory, and legal aspects of business at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Beyond the classroom, he has served as a programme coordinator, course developer, HKICPA QP workshop facilitator, and external assessor. Dr. Tang remains actively engaged in continuing professional development, regularly participating in seminars on fintech, AI in accounting, and regulatory updates, ensuring his teaching and practice are aligned with the latest industry standards.
