The Department of Accountancy hosted the ACY Guest Lecture on Commercial Mediation featuring Dr Alex Lau, Partner at The Hong Kong Intellectual Property Advisory Services Ltd., on 27 March 2025.
During the Guest Lecture, Dr Lau explored the vital role of commercial mediation in business, emphasising the importance of mediation skills for effective dispute resolution with lively examples from his experience. Participants gained valuable insights into the benefits of instrumenting mediation into dispute case handling and the detailed mediation procedures for both local and cross-border disputes.
