The Department of Accountancy proudly announces that Dr. Pauline Wong, a faculty member, and two BBA in Professional Accounting (BBA-PA) Year 3 students, Ms. Chen Yueru Stella and Ms. Wang Gongyu Violet, have volunteered for the 15th National Games. Dr. Wong serves as Committee and Information Systems Support for the track cycling competition; Ms. Chen is part of the volunteer team affectionately nicknamed the “Little Dolphins”, providing Spectator and Venue Media Services for the fencing competition; and Ms. Wang serves as a Hong Kong Etiquette Volunteer, all helping to ensure the smooth running of the event.
The 15th National Games, jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, is a major sporting event that fosters regional unity and excellence. The department actively supports this initiative and encourages staff and students to contribute through multiple channels.
Dr. Wong, Stella, and Violet’s dedicated service exemplifies the department’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. Their participation not only enriches their practical experience but also demonstrates pride in representing Hong Kong on this national stage.
