Biography

Ricky Lam is a distinguished educator, business leader and management consultant specializing in talent and leadership development. With over 25 years of extensive experience in business, finance, and general management with global MNCs in the Asia Pacific region across multiple industrial sectors including professional services, manufacturing, telecommunications, media & entertainment.

As Associate Dean (Enterprise and Business Engagement) of the School of Business, Ricky develops, leads and drives business engagement strategies for the School to align with the School’s five-year strategic plan. He is accountable for enhancing students’ business engagement and exposure with the industries through mentorship, internship, international study tours and exchanges.

Ricky has served as an educator in various higher education institutions in Hong Kong, focusing on taxation, business law and ethics, financial management, and financial accounting. Ricky began his career with PwC, where he received specialized training in tax compliance and advisory work.

He has a keen interest and passion in arts and culture and is a songwriter member of Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong. Ricky is currently the conductor of the HSUHK Choir.
