At the Graduation Ceremony on 3 December 2025, the Department of Accountancy stood with the HSUHK community in mourning the victims of the tragic fire in Tai Po. Following a moment of silence during the ceremony, we extended our deepest condolences to the bereaved, the injured, and affected residents, and paid tribute to first responders, medical teams, and volunteers.
In this spirit of unity and care, the Department hosted a gathering with the Class of 2025 from the BBA (Hons) in Professional Accountancy (BBA-PA) and BBA (Hons) in Corporate Governance and Compliance (BBA-CGC). Graduates and teachers met at Wei Lun Square for group photos, while a photo booth in the S H Ho Academic Building provided space for conversation and reconnection. A local sketch artist created personalised illustrations for graduates as unique tokens to mark the occasion.
Our professional education is anchored in care, compassion, and social commitment. We commend our graduates on their hard-earned achievements and encourage them to advance their careers with empathy and resilience, contributing constructively to the business community and society at large.
