Connecting With Future Students in Kuala Lumpur
The School of Business of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong participated in the Unimy Grad Fair 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, meeting students and young professionals interested in postgraduate study and future career development.
Representing the School at the fair were Dr Eko Liao, Associate Programme Director of the Master of Business Management (MBM), Dr King King Li, Programme Director of the Master of Science in Entrepreneurial Management (MSc-EM), and Ms Kanas Chan, Assistant Manager of the School of Business. Through face-to-face conversations, the team introduced the School’s taught postgraduate programmes and shared the advantages of studying in Hong Kong.

The fair attracted interest from students of diverse backgrounds, including those from Pakistan, Indonesia, Iran, and Malaysia, who visited the booth to ask about programme features, admission requirements, and study opportunities in Hong Kong.

Panel Discussion on Business Education
As part of the event, Dr Eko Liao was invited to speak at the school panel discussion titled “Step into the Business World: The Advantages of Pursuing a Master’s Degree in Malaysia and Abroad,” where she shared insights on the value of postgraduate business education and the unique opportunities offered by Hong Kong.

Dr Eko Liao said, “Hong Kong, as an international financial centre, offers students an ideal platform to learn, grow, and explore future opportunities. It connects students with the world while serving as an important bridge to Mainland China and the wider Asian market.”

She added, “Whether you aspire to start your own company, drive innovation within an organisation, or prepare for further academic advancement, HSUHK provides a powerful starting point. We are committed to nurturing future business leaders with a global mindset, technological agility, social responsibility, and the entrepreneurial courage to create meaningful impact.”
Showcasing Two Featured Programmes
At the fair, the School featured two postgraduate programmes. The Master of Business Management (MBM) is designed for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who want to build a strong foundation in business and management. The Master of Science in Entrepreneurial Management (MSc-EM) is ideal for aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators who want to turn ideas into practical business opportunities.

Dr King King Li said, “We hope to inspire students to see postgraduate study as a meaningful next step — one that can open new doors, broaden perspectives, and prepare them for the future they want to create.”
Expanding Connections in Malaysia
Through its participation in the fair, the School of Business further strengthened its connections with students in Malaysia and shared how HSUHK can be a strong starting point for ambitious students looking to pursue their goals in Hong Kong and beyond.
