Navigating the Future of Business Education
To ensure our curriculum and strategic vision remain aligned with the latest global trends, Dean Sam Park, recently attended the annual AACSB Deans Conference. Joining over 600 academic leaders worldwide, Dean Park participated in high-level dialogues centered on the theme of “Leading Across Boundaries.”
The core focus of the conference was on how rapid technological disruption—especially artificial intelligence—is reshaping management education. By engaging in these vital sessions, Dean Park gathered actionable insights on ethical AI integration and interdisciplinary agility, ensuring that HSUHK’s “AI-Native” vision continues to lead the way in modern business education.
Expanding Our Global Footprint: The IAFCE Forum
While the primary mission was staying updated on global educational shifts, the concentration of international leaders provided an ideal platform for strategic networking. Dean Park took the opportunity to engage in more partnerships with several European business schools and invited them to our newly proposed International AI × FinTech Commercialisation and Education (IAFCE) Forum.
During executive sessions, he met with leadership from seven distinguished European business schools to establish a transnational network focused on practical AI-FinTech commercialisation and student exchange:
- Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics (Netherlands): Expressed strong interest in joining at the foundational governance level.
- Luxembourg School of Business (Luxembourg): A major global FinTech hub. LSB recommended collaboration their prominent FinTech partner, LHoFT.
- University of Hohenheim, Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences (Germany)
- CUNEF University, School of Business, Economics and Law (Spain)
- Essex Business School (UK)
- ESCE International Business School (France)
- Iscte Business School (Portugal)
Bringing these global insights and partnerships back to campus, HSUHK SBUS is perfectly positioned to advance its strategic planning and enrich the student experience for the upcoming academic year.
