We were honored to host Professor Tony Tong, distinguished member of our Academic Advisory Board and faculty member at the University of Colorado Boulder, for an exceptional research seminar on 2 May. Professor Tong’s presentation, titled “How Disclosure of Personal Information Affects User Engagement: Experimental Evidence from an Online Marketplace,” offered groundbreaking empirical insights into digital platform dynamics, drawing from his cutting-edge work in behavioural economics and information disclosure.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with ideas ranging from cutting-edge research to actionable strategies. Professor Tong also shared valuable insights with our department’s teachers during the one-to-one consultation period.
