Professional Bodies Briefing Session 2023-24 – Series 1 (1st Session)

The Professional Bodies Briefing Session 2023 was successfully held on 28 September 2023 with an aim to provide students with the latest information on the professional bodies and their respective qualifications.

In this series, TWO professional bodies from accounting fields were invited to introduce their institutes and professional qualification requirements to students. They are: (in alphabetical order)

• Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
• CPA Australia

Representatives detailed the features of their professional examinations such as exam formats and international recognition. Besides, they also outlined some of the upcoming professional activities and competitions and believed students could enrich their profiles through these activities.

Ms. Joey Lee (Associate Head, Department of Accountancy) presented a souvenir to the representative of ACCA.
