Biography

Rosalie Yan Yin Woo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Finance at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK). Since joining HSUHK in 2008, she has been dedicated to advancing innovative teaching practices in Economics and Finance. She is particularly passionate about integrating service-learning and emerging technologies, including generative AI, into her teaching to foster students’ critical thinking, creativity, and real-world problem-solving skills.

Ms Woo’s commitment to teaching excellence has been recognised with the HSUHK Teaching Excellence Awards in 2019/20 and 2023/24. Professionally, she is a CFA charterholder, with expertise in personal finance and financial management.
