SBUS is actively expanding its global presence in its ongoing effort to become a leading international business school in Asia. Recently, Dean Sam Park completed a successful visit to the UK, where strategic partnerships were established with 5 prestigious universities: SOAS University of London, Queen Mary University of London, University College London, The University of Edinburgh, and The University of Glasgow. These partnerships mark the beginning of collaborative efforts to enhance academic excellence and cultural exchange.
During the visit, Dean Park also met with our partners for executive education programmes, aiming to leverage HSUHK’s strong corporate connections and deliver impactful learning experiences for business leaders.
The partnerships focus on several key areas:
- Research Collaboration: With recent faculty hires from around the world, HSUHK is well-positioned to engage in advanced academic exchanges. Our UK partners have shown strong interest our the School’s AI initiatives. Joint research projects are currently being explored.
- Student Experience: To provide global learning opportunities, our school is developing summer study tours and cultural immersion programmes for our undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Looking ahead, SBUS is preparing to host the inaugural International FinTech Forum in Hong Kong next year. This flagship event will bring together academic and business leaders from our global partners to address key topics such as FinTech policy, AI integration, and sustainable business practices. Our partners have expressed strong support for this initiative.
The forum will showcase Hong Kong’s position as a global FinTech hub and strengthen international collaboration. HSUHK is excited to continue building its global network and advancing its mission to become a leading institution.
