Graduation, Professionally Captured: MGT’s Class of 2025/26

On Tuesday, 21 April, the Department of Management (MGT) turned a routine graduation photoshoot into a moment of collective celebration for this year’s graduating class, as students in academic gowns moved across campus capturing the final chapter of their university life.

Beyond commemorative images, the photoshoot was designed with students’ next steps in mind. Each graduating student received a formal graduation portrait alongside a professionally taken CV photograph, reinforcing the department’s emphasis on career readiness at the point of graduation. A departmental group photo was also taken, marking the cohort’s place within the MGT community.

The response was immediate. Students reviewed images on site, with many commenting positively on the quality of the photographs. Small groups formed spontaneously as classmates compared portraits and offered opinions, turning the session into a collaborative and animated experience rather than a staged exercise.

Throughout the afternoon, the campus atmosphere reflected both closure and transition — a graduation ritual that balanced celebration with preparation for the professional world ahead. For MGT, the photoshoot served not only as a record of achievement, but as a reminder that graduation is as much about where students are going next as it is about how far they have come.
