Organized by the Belt and Road Pioneer, the 2026 “My Interfaces with the Belt and Road Initiative” Integrated Ability Competition concluded successfully at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong on 25 April 2026. Taking place against the official rollout of the national 15th Five-Year Plan and Hong Kong’s formulation of its first local five-year development blueprint, the competition featured the timely, forward-looking thematic strand, “15th Five-Year Plan · What’s in it for Me”. The event also featured speeches by several prominent speakers, including Mr Nicholas HO, the Commissioner for Belt & Road, and Professor Herman HU, GBS, JP, a Hong Kong SAR Deputy to the National People’s Congress.
Representatives from the HSUHK School of Business demonstrated comprehensive understanding of key national policy frameworks, including national development strategies, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area development roadmap, and the core positioning of the Belt and Road Initiative. Two elite student teams consist of 4 members (namely CHEUNG For Ying, HUANG Zhixian, SEET Mun Wai and ZHU Junxing) from the Department of Accountancy , stood out among numerous participating teams with excellent on-site performance and were bestowed with the “Silk Road Award” and “Green Award” respectively.
