The School Strengthens Engagement with Secondary Students through Ongoing Outreach Activities

Between September 2025 and July 2026, the School of Business organised a series of outreach activities, engaging over 1,500 secondary school students through both outbound school talks and incoming campus visits. These efforts reflect the School’s continued commitment to connecting with prospective students and supporting their exploration of business education.

Outbound school talks formed a key component of the outreach, reaching over 1,000 students across various secondary schools. Through programme sharing, admissions information, and interactive discussions, students gained a clearer understanding of study options and pathways in a familiar school setting.

The School also welcomed several hundred students to campus through a number of incoming visits, where they were introduced to the University’s learning environment and had the opportunity to experience campus life first-hand.

Q&A sessions across both formats provided valuable insights into students’ interests. Common questions centred on programme selection, career pathways, and internship opportunities, alongside growing curiosity about how business education is adapting to a technology-driven environment. These discussions reflect an increasing awareness of the importance of practical skills and future career planning.

Overall, the strong and consistent level of participation highlights sustained interest in the School’s outreach initiatives. The School looks forward to welcoming more students to campus and supporting them as they take the next step in their academic journey.
