Between September 2025 and July 2026, the School of Business carried out a series of outreach activities to connect with secondary school students and support their exploration of business education. During the period, the School engaged more than 25 secondary schools across Hong Kong and reached over 1,500 students through school talks, campus visits and related engagement activities, reflecting its continued commitment to student recruitment and school engagement.
Students from different secondary schools joined the School’s campus visits as part of its year-round outreach efforts, which reached over 1,500 students across Hong Kong.
Dr Willy Huang, Lecturer of the Department of Management, shared the School’s programmes with students during one of the outreach sessions.
The activities involved ongoing coordination with secondary schools, programme sharing, admissions information sessions, Q&A arrangements and campus visit support. Through these efforts, the School broadened its outreach network while providing prospective students with clearer information on study options and pathways in business education.
Dr Sunny Chan, Lecturer of the Department of Marketing, and Dr Lisa Goh, Associate Professor of the Department of Accountancy, visited secondary schools to introduce the School’s programmes and answer students’ questions.
Dr Winnie Chan, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Marketing, met with students in a classroom to share insights into business-related study pathways.
Students toured the University Library and learned about the academic resources available on campus.
Students also visited the University’s residential facilities to learn more about campus life.
The outreach initiatives formed part of the School’s year-round effort to maintain close connections with secondary schools across Hong Kong. They also helped reinforce the School’s visibility among schools, teachers and prospective applicants at different stages of students’ study planning.
Q&A sessions provided opportunities for direct engagement with students and offered useful insights into their interests and concerns. Common questions centred on programme selection, career pathways and internship opportunities, as well as how business education is adapting to a technology-driven environment.
Overall, the scale of participation, the number of schools engaged and the sustained nature of the activities demonstrate the School’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its outreach network and enhancing awareness of business education. The School looks forward to welcoming more students to campus and supporting them as they take the next step in their academic journey.
The breadth of the School’s outreach is reflected in the range of participating schools across different districts of Hong Kong, including:
