The SSRC Business Consultancy Case Presentation Competition on 31 July 2026

The Start-up and SME Resource Centre (SSRC) organized “The SSRC Business Consultancy Case Presentation Competition” on 31 July 2026 at HSUHK. Two BBA-GBM students from the Department of Management, namely SHEK Cho Chi, George and LIU Kaiting, Jack (BBA-GBM Year 2 students), won the 1^st runner-up recognition, while two BBA-PA students from the Department of Accountancy, namely CHAN Hoi Ying and CHAN Kwan Yiu (BBA-PA Year 2 students), won the 2^nd runner-up recognition. All participating student consultancy teams (“teams”) were asked to prepare a business consultancy report respectively for a SME client company (“client company”) in Hong Kong, supervised by the Director and Associate Directors of SSRC, Dr Lawrence LEI, Dr Yam Wing SIU, and Dr Kevin ZENG. The student consultants were invited to either solve one business operational problem raised by the client company or identify one business opportunity for the client company based on its current resources and provide their findings and recommendations accordingly in the business consultancy reports. On 31 July 2026, all teams presented their findings and recommendations for their client companies to the judges.
